Recipe for

Citrus Jellies


Ingredients
  • 150 ml freshly squeezed Orange or Lemon Juice
  • 125 ml Glycerine

  • 25 g Gelatine Powder
  • Caster Sugar
 

You will need
A double saucepan, a jug, a sandwich tray or jelly moulds and scissors

 

Directions

  • Place the juice, glycerine and gelatine in the top of the double saucepan.
  • Heat gently until all dissolved.
  • Strain into a jug then pour into the sandwich tray or jelly moulds.

  • Allow to completely cool.
  • If set in the sandwich tray, turn out onto a sugar coated surface and cut into cubes with a pair of oiled scissors.
  • Roll the jellies in caster sugar.
