Grandpa Pencil's Recipe

Jam Tarts


Jam Tarts


  • 1 sheet ready rolled Sweet Short-Pastry
  • Butter
  • Your choice of Jam


 You will need
Knife, scone or round biscuit cutter approx. 7 cm in diameter, patty tins, cutting board and a teaspoon


  • Lay out pastry on your cutting board and cut as many circles as possible
  • press each circle into a lightly buttered patty place pressing a fork down around the edges for decoration
  • Cook in a moderate oven 180c (350f) for around ten minutes
  • Spoon the desired amount of jam into each tart
  • Return to the oven for another five minutes
