Recipe for
Mint Sauce


Ingredients
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) Lemon Juice
  • 100 ml (1/2 cup) Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

  • 50 ml (1/4 cup) Water
  • 1 small bunch finely chopped Mint Leaves
 

You will need
A saucepan, a sharp knife, a cutting board, a wooden spoon and a container for the finished sauce

 

Directions

  • Place lemon juice, sugar and salt in a saucepan and add water
  • Heat gently for around 10 minutes

  • Add mint leaves and stir for 1 to 2 minutes
  • Allow to stand in a warm place for at least 15 minutes before serving
