Grandpa Pencil's Recipe

  • 500g Cubed Lamb
  • 1/4 teaspoon Citric Acid
  • 20 ml Pear Syrup
  • 8 bamboo skewers
  • 8 Lettuce leaves
  • Chopped Parsley


 You will need
A mixing bowl, a blender, a sharp knife and a cutting board


  • Place lamb into a mixing bowl
  • Blend citric acid and pear syrup
  • Pour mixture over lamb and marinate for 2 hours
  • Thread lamb onto skewers
  • Grill for 5 to 10 minutes occasionally brushing with marinade
  • Place each Jolly Swagman on a lettuce leaf (swag) and sprinkle with parsley
