TUNA CASSEROLE


 


TUNA CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup coarsely crushed Potato Crisps
  • 3 tablespoons Oil
  • 450g can Tuna
  • 300g can Cream of Celery Soup
  • Water
  • 1 Onion
  • 3 sticks Celery
  • 1/4 cup Lemon Juice
  • 75g Salted Cashews
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

 

 You will need
A can opener, a sharp knife, a cutting board, a frying pan, a mixing bowl and an ovenproof dish

 

Directions

  • Heat oil in a frying pan and add chopped onion and sliced celery
  • Sauté until almost tender then remove from the pan
  • Mix undrained tuna, soup, water (half the volume of the soup can), lemon juice, cashews, salt and pepper
  • Add the onion and celery
  • place in a greased ovenproof dish
  • Bake, uncovered, in a moderate oven for 20 minutes
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with the crushed crisps then return to the oven for another 15 minutes
