Chocolate Creams


Ingredients
  • 250g Icing Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 large block of Dark Chocolate
  • Flavouring Essences
    strawberry, peppermint and banana
  • Food Colouring
    Red, green and yellow
 

You will need
Mixing bowl, mixing spoon, rolling pin, a tray and some foil

 

Directions

  • Mix icing sugar and lightly beaten egg white
  • Knead until smooth
  • Divide the mixture into three equal portions
  • Portion 1: Blend with strawberry essence and some red food colouring
  • Portion 2: Blend with green food colouring and some peppermint essence
  • Portion 3: Blend with banana essence and yellow food colouring
  • Roll each portion down to about 6 mm thick
  • cut out into shapes that you desire. It could be hearts or Christmas trees.
  • Leave on foil overnight to dry, and no picking the edges off.
  • Melt the chocolate (Don't forget to melt the chocolate in a saucepan over another saucepan of water to avoid burning)
  • Dip each of your sweets into the chocolate to cover about half of each
  • Put aside on foil to set
  • You can make raisin drops with any extra chocolate
